Tomasello Appraisals & Advisory is a full-service firm specializing in personal property appraisals and collection advisory for private clients, corporations and institutions. Being an independent appraisal and advisory firm, we are able to provide unbiased and objective valuations and advice. We specialize in estate tax, insurance scheduling, financial planning, equitable distribution and non-cash charitable donation appraisal reports as well as creating collection inventories and providing advisory services for downsizing, acquisitions or deaccessions of your collections.
We can appraise everything from fine art and furniture to silver, ceramics, jewelry and collectibles. Whether it is a single item or an entire collection spread over multiple locations, we can manage it all while offering a competitive fee structure. Our reports are written in compliance with the Appraisal Foundation's Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) and to meet the standards set forth by the Appraisers Association of America and the International Society of Appraisers.

With over fifteen years of experience in the auction and appraisal industries, she has held roles ranging from cataloguer and director to senior appraiser and vice president. Her expertise lies in building relationships with clients and guiding them through the appraisal process. Gina can also provide valuable advisory services to those seeking to downsize, deaccession or inventory their collections and specializes in appraising silver and general household contents for formal, written appraisals.
She is a Certified Member of the Appraisers Association of America with a specialization in Silver, an Accredited Member of the International Society of Appraisers, and USPAP compliant as well as an active member of The Decorative Arts Trust, the Philadelphia Estate Planning Council, the Princeton Mercer Chamber of Commerce, and the Newtown Historic Association. She has authored the ‘Silver’ section of the Appraisers Association Handbook, Appraising: The Definitive Guide to Valuing Fine Art, Decorative Arts & Collectibles, Vol. 2 and lectured on the history of silver in Philadelphia as well as how to deaccession lifetime collections.
